SEE OUR LATEST CUSTOM DESIGN PEARL NECKLACE

This gorgeous treasure was 2 months in the making, but I am SO PROUD of how beautifully this Custom Design Tahitian and Akoya Pearl Necklace turned out. 

Created in collaboration with a client for a very special Wedding Anniversary gift this past July.

The 52-Inch Pearl Rope combines colorful Circled Tahitian Baroque Pearls with Smooth Drop-Shaped Tahitians and perfectly round Japanese Akoya. 

Each section of the necklace was totally bespoke for maximum color-play and to keep the eye and the imagination moving! 

The necklace was broken up into sections of 7 or 9 Tahitian pearls each, ranging between 9.0-11.5mm in size. Japanese Akoya pearls measuring 8.0-8.5mm pearls were interspersed at random to break up the pattern a bit.

In between each of the 7/9 Tahitian sections, two 6.0-6.5mm Akoya pearls bracket a colorful Circled Tahitian pearl measuring either 13.0-14.0mm or 14.0-15.0mm in size. 

The Pearl Rope was double-knotted on black silk, and finished with an "Endless" clasp, meaning no clasp to close the strand. At 52-Inches, the pearls will easily be able to wrap up to 3 times over the head, so clasps are not really necessary and we felt might end up bringing in a distraction to the continuity of the layout. 

The final design was presented to his wife on their Anniversary - lucky lady!! They said they took the pearls with them on vacation to Tahiti, and local pearl dealers there were very impressed with the color saturation and unique design. I'll just take a moment to brush my shoulder off! ;)
