The New Year brings many great things, among them the ubiquitous retrospective of favorite moments, movies, projects, etc. and Pure is no different! With no further ado, here are our favorite custom pearl necklace jewelry designs (well, at least a few of them) from 2018. Enjoy the show!

In Spring 2018 we had a 100-inch Akoya PearlRope request that was made with an extremely special clasp for an equally special and equally as gorgeous bride for an Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding. The clasp features a white diamond checkerboard pattern featured in romantic 14K Rose Gold. What a GORGEOUS piece to have wrapped around you on your wedding day right?! And to be able to have it always as a reminder of style, grace, and love? A dream come true.

From Winter 2018, we have my personal favorite, our “Diamond Branch” necklace. This piece was my favorite of the whole year actually, the way the final 9-10mm Metallic White Freshwater pearl is held by the golden branches, and the way the AAA Quality Akoya pearls continue going up around the neck to encompass the neck in a halo of grace, is just exquisite.

In Summer 2018, we have this gorgeous 14K Yellow Gold set piece with AAA Quality Round Tahitian pearls that have beautiful Green and Gold Overtone. Paired with 14K Yellow Gold and Diamond Rondelles and finished with a 14K Yellow Gold Ball Clasp that basically calls to you over how beautiful the pieces are. (Hint: This is AMAZING for green eyes and dark hair!)

Now we have a modern, classic piece that has an asymmetric layout using Cherry and Peacock Tahitian pearls and Gem Quality White Freshwater pearls. Mixing black and white is always a quick and easy way to get a true style, but this? This may have given the term "Noir" a new definition! 

Finally, finishing out the Winter of 2018 was another beautiful combination of Nature and class, we had a design request for a White South Sea pearl encased in a Diamond Lily inspired pendant! The 14.0mm Gem Quality White South Sea Drop pearl shimmers with stunning Silver-Rose overtones, and is mounted with a 14K Yellow Gold Lily Pendant with an enlarged 0.10cttw VS1-GH Quality Round-Brilliant diamond accent! This was a truly incredible Christmas present for one lucky lady! 

2019 is now upon us, and we're already gearing up to create some truly unique and beautiful custom pearl jewelry creations, and can't wait to get started!
